Batch Page Design Tab¶
The Page Design page appears when you create a new report or modify an existing report. Use the options on the Page Design page to customize the page formatting for your Volunteer List report.
Page Layout Options¶
Page size¶
Use the dropdown list to choose the paper or envelope size for this report. The default page size is "Letter."
Margin width¶
Enter the size (in inches) of the margin you want to appear around the edge of the page. The default margin width is one half inch (0.5 inches).
Page orientation¶
Choose the way you would like the pages of the report to be oriented, portrait or landscape.
Fit to page¶
When you check Fit to page Volgistics will attempt to fit all of your report onto a single page across. Reports will still extend to additional pages if Volgistics cannot fit all of the report content onto a single page using the smallest legible font.
Title and Logo Options¶
First and Second title line¶
Type what you want to appear for the report title. Report titles may be two lines long.
The report title appears at the top of the first page, and at the top of subsequent pages if the report supports page breaks and you selected page breaks for the report.
Title Font Name and Sizes¶
Use the Font name dropdown list to choose the name of the font you would like Volgistics to use for the report title.
The report title may include two lines of text, and each line may be in a different font size. This enables you to have a larger main title, and smaller sub-title. Use the dropdown lists to choose the font size (in points) for the first and second title line lines.
Title location¶
Use the dropdown list to choose the way you would like to arrange the report title at the top of the page.
Body font name and size¶
Use the dropdown lists to choose the font style and font size (in points) for the text in the body of the report. The body of the report includes all of the report content except the report title.
If you also select Fit to page, Volgistics may adjust the size of the body font so the report will fit onto one page across.
Border and Index Options¶
Lines¶
Column style reports can include lines around the border of the report and between report columns. Lines often make column oriented reports easier to read. Choose On if you want this report to include lines, or Off if you prefer no lines. This option does not affect the content of the report except by adding or removing the line graphics.
Date and time ran¶
Choose On if you want this report to include the date and time the report was run in the lower left corner of each page. Choose Off if you prefer not to have the date and time included.
Page numbers¶
Choose On if you want page numbers included at the bottom of each page. Choose Off if you prefer not to have page numbers.
Corner index¶
This option is only available for Volunteer Profile reports, so it will appear disabled here.
Complete Report¶
When you're finished choosing the page design options for your report click the Save button to save your changes. The new options will be used the next time you run a batch report.
